Shannon brings a multi-sport background to Continuum Fitness & Movement Performance, and showcases a wide variety of placements and practical experiences including, two internships with Canadian Football Leagues the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2016 and the Ottawa RedBlacks in 2017. Shannon also spent time working with different community sporting organizations and teams, including Special Olympics Canada and Rugby Ontario, Canada.

As a graduate of Sheridan College, Shannon’s work ethic, knowledge, and impact on her community have been recognized through numerous awards including, the Anne Hartley Award of Excellence and the Co-op Student of the Year for the Province of Ontario. In 2018, Shannon spent the season as Assistant Therapist for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Assistant Therapist with the Ottawa RedBlacks in 2019.

At Continuum Fitness, Shannon utilizes her experience within Clinic and Strength and Conditioning to implement changes to biomechanics and the overall health of her clients. Using a wide range of techniques including soft tissue release, contemporary cupping techniques, joint mobilization, and biomechanics correction, Shannon addresses injuries and concerns, as well as the functioning of her clients at any stage or level of fitness.

Shannon maintains a special interest in treating athletes with acute or chronic injuries, as well as helping post-surgical or post-concussion injury cases as they reintegrate back to sports.
