Registered Kinesiologist and Clinical Exercise Physiologist 

Sarah is the co-founder of Continuum Fitness & Movement Performance. She is a Registered Kinesiologist with an Honors Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa, with a minor in Biology. She is a Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario (CKO), is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP), is certified in Group Fitness with Can-Fit-Pro, and is the author of Walk Your Way Fit: Your Guide to Better Health, Wellness and Vitality (Human Kinetics).

In addition to educational accolades and expertise, Sarah is a former international fitness competitor. She represented Canada during the Ms. Fitness World competition four times and continues to present in fitness conferences across North America. She is the 2023 recipient of the canfitpro delegates choice Canadian Presenter of the Year award.  Sarah is a nationally ranked race walker and is the 2012 and 2014 Ontario Provincial Race Walking Champion for the 5000 m, and was the Canadian Indoor National Champion in 2016 for the 3000 m race. In light of her immense knowledge and experience, Sarah developed and created the Prenatal and Postnatal Strength Workout DVD, available online as well as the co-creator of the Women’s Wellness Specialist: Fitness and Lifestyle Coaching Certification.  When she is not training and helping clients across North America reach their fitness goals, Sarah adores spending time with her husband and two daughters.

As part of Sarah’s initial client assessment with Continuum, she utilizes movement screens, thorough history-taking, manual muscle testing, posture analysis, gait assessment, and analyzes breathing mechanics to aid clients on their journey. Her goal is to determine the root cause of injury; alignment shifts, movement mechanics and patterns, and takes a holistic approach to correcting imbalances.

Education: 

BSc. (Human Kinetics) from the University of Ottawa, graduated with honors. Minor in Biology.
