Welcome, Greta Chase!

We are pleased to welcome Greta Chase to the Continuum Fitness team! Greta completed her Master of Human Kinetics – Intervention and Consultation at the University of Ottawa in 2023 and has accumulated over two years of experience in the field of mental performance consulting. She has supported clients across a range of performance domains—including varsity swimming, competitive gymnastics, cross-country skiing, endurance cycling, varsity rowing, competitive speed skating, business, and lifestyle—helping them achieve their performance objectives through refined mental skills and personalized tools.

Having found success as a varsity lightweight rower at Queen’s University and continuing her athletic journey through competitive cycling, Greta brings a holistic approach to mental performance at our clinic. Guided by her values of empathy, growth, resilience, and integrity, she is committed to helping you achieve your fitness and wellness goals through mental skills interventions tailored to ensure you find success!

Mental performance consulting primarily involves one-on-one coaching to help you use your strengths to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals in performance and well-being. Working with a Mental Performance Consultant (MPC) can help hone your mindset for success in various performance domains, including but not limited to sport, exercise, work, and school. Whether you want to build your confidence and achieve a personal best in your next half-marathon, or manage setbacks during your recovery from an injury, working with an MPC is your go-to solution. Or perhaps you need more effective stress-management strategies to be more present with friends and family—an MPC can help you make meaningful changes that last.

Our mental performance services offer a performance-driven approach to support your daily success and wellbeing. Although the role of an MPC is closely aligned with Sport Psychologists, MPCs aren’t licensed to diagnose or treat mental health challenges or mental illnesses. If you require this support, please consult a clinical practitioner, or our MPC can refer you to one.
