Meditation (Sylvie Gouin) Click to expand

This four-week session is the perfect end to your week. Providing you with an opportunity to deeply relax and release build up tension you will experience first-hand the benefits practitioners are raving about. Classes will include a guided relaxation and meditation practice. No previous experience required. Everyone is welcome.

Fridays, 6:45-7:45 pm, February 7 - 28 OR

Wednesdays, 10:15-11:15 am, February 12 to March 5

Performance Stability for Runners (Véronique Roberts) Click to expand

Over the course of six weeks, runners will be challenged with exercises that target many key areas of the body that are typically prone to a lack of stability. Each class will provide targeted exercises beginning at the feet and working up the chain. The program is progressive and participants are encouraged to perform homework.

Posture Improvement (Sarah Zahab & Véronique Roberts) Click to expand

When our body is properly aligned, there is the least amount of strain on our muscles and joints and our body is more efficient. Proper posture can help reduce pain, improve range of motion, lay a solid foundation for all activities and balance out hours of sitting. Strengthen muscles in the back, core and scapular stabilizers, stretch tight chest, back and shoulder muscles and perfect your posture in this multilevel class.

Mobility for Endurance Athletes (Véronique Roberts) Click to expand

This program will introduce effective methods for providing increased range of motion in many of the areas for concern in edurance athletes. Participants will benefit from a combination of both active and static flexibility exercises - geared towards improving functional mobility. Participants are encouraged to perform homework.

Core Training (Véronique Roberts) Click to expand

The core is more than just your abs - there are over 35 muscles responsible for stabilizing your spine. Engage all of them with this effective class. We will introduce key exercises that will help you get connected to your core as well as improve strength and stability. All movements begin from the core whether you accelerate, decelerate or change direction and a good core connection will help you gain greater control in all of your sport and daily activities.

The Elemental Workout® (Sarah Zahab) Click to expand

Based on the four elements Fire, Water, Earth and Air with a workout for each, Cardio, Strength, Core and Flexibility. A wonderful all in one workout using your own body and the ball to build strength and endurance, improve posture and flexibility safely and effectively.

Zumba® (Sarah Zahab) Click to expand

Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating. It’s an exciting spicy, hip swiveling workout where African, Caribbean and Latin dance moves are combined with aerobics and fitness. Join the party!

Thursdays, 6:50-7:35 pm, January 23 - February 27

Foam Rolling (Véronique Roberts) Click to expand

This group session is about taking care of tension and massaging the fascia (part of your muscles) to help release tight muscles. This program will help you learn key exercises on the foam roller that can be performed after a hard training session, at the end of a day or as part of your stretching routine. Participants in this class are encouraged to perform homework.

Circuit Training (Véronique Roberts) Click to expand

Challenge yourself in a safe, effective and small group environment. This circuit class will focus on strength and cardiovascular exercises for the whole body with an emphasis on quality of movement. Options are provided for various fitness levels.

Wednesdays, 1:15-2:00pm, January 22 - February 26

Saturdays, 8:00-8:45 am, February 8 - March 15
